Aurelianus AD 270-275 Antoninianus (BI; 21-22mm; 3.77g; 11h) Rome, 8th issue, 1st phase, 5th officina, spring – summer 274. IMP AVRELIANVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Aurelian to right. Rev. ORI-E-NS AVG Sol standing to left, right hand raised, holding globe in left hand, right foot resting on bound captive in oriental dress seated to left; on the other side, another captive seated to right, head turned to left; in the fields XXI – V; in exergue, lion walking to left. Wonderful silvering. Very rare.
