Aurelianus 270-275 Antoninianus (BI; 22-23mm; 4.38g; 6h) Rome, 8th issue, 1st phase, 5th officina, spring – summer 274. IMP AVRELIANVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Aurelianus to right. Rev. ORI-E-NS AVG Sol standing to left, right hand raised and globe in left; right foot resting on a bound captive in oriental dress seated to left on left side; opposite side another bound captive in oriental dress seated to right, head turned to left; right in field, V; in exergue, XXI. Extremely fine with some tiny corrosion spots. Wonderful silvering. Rare.
