Alexandria Philip I AD 244-249 Drachm (AE; 31-32mm; 13.78g; 11h) 247/248. A K M IOV ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟC EVC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip to right, seen from back. Rev. Alexandria standing left, wears close-fitting cap with brim, turreted, chiton and peplos over both shoulders and arms and lower limbs, holds bust of Serapis right wearing modius, and rests on scepter; in field, L – E (= year 5).
