Alexandria Gordian III AD 238-244. Tetradrachm (AE; 23-24mm; 13.40g; 12h) 238/239. A K Μ ΑΝ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC EVCE Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust Gordian to right, seen from back. Rev. Roma seated left, holding Victory on right hand, bearing wreath and palm, and resting on spear; against side of throne, shield; in left field, L B (= year 2).
