IONIA Ephesos – Homonoia with Alexandria Gordian III AD 238-244. Bronze (AE; 27-28mm; 8.96g; 6h) AVT K M AN[T] ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian to right. Rev. ΕΦΕ-CIΩ-Ν – AΛΕΖΑΝ/ΔΡΕΩΝ Serapis, wearing modius and himation over lower limbs, seated left; he holds cultus-statue of Ephesian Artemis on extended right hand and rests with left on sceptre; at his feet, Cerberos.
